Open Venture Lab (OVL)

    A program, launched as part of social contribution efforts, that utilizes KAIST’s outstanding research capacity to promote technology startups among the general public

  • Requirements

    echnology-based potential startup teams with innovative ideas from among the general public


    * Excludes
    1. KAIST faculty/staff and students (enrolled or on leave)
    2. Persons with a registered business on the date of notice of the program
  • Details of support
    • Prototyping and commercialization support (max. KRW 30 million),

    • expert mentoring, KAIST technology mentoring, etc.

    Once a year / March–December

  • Program stages
    • Supported over three stages: Pre-OVL, Main-OVL, Post-OVL

    Transition assessment

    (Main-OVL) BM development, mock IR, technology lab matching, commercialization funding

    Follow-up support
